In 2006 I took a trip down the Baja Peninsula with some of my college buddies. On that trip, I realized that there is a much bigger world out there than what I had been exposed to. I knew right then and there that I just had to see it all! Unlike most wanderlusts who have the incredible opportunity to set off and find themselves in their early 20’s, I was a late bloomer. I never got to backpack Europe, explore Central America, or even study abroad. In fact, I was a freshman in college the first time I boarded an airplane. I was already behind most of the young explorers in my age range and yet it would still be a while before I was able to travel much beyond Baja.
Today, as I stare 40 in the face, I have decided to start this personal blog project. I hope that it will bring perspective to someone else as I attempt to showcase the real people behind the politics of our world. My goal is to report on topics in a way that helps the average reader to better understand these often-complex situations and help in some way to adapt to globalization through a better understanding of people.
Bon Voyage!
